Robi Domingo was bashed by fans of KathNiel and LizQuen after he posted a video and a photo of himself with Liza Soberano and Daniel Padilla.
This video, which shows Robi teasing Liza and Daniel became controversial because the former’s love team partner is Enrique Gil while the latter’s love team partner is Kathryn Bernardo.
KAMI learned from PEP.ph that Robi has already settled the issue with the parties involved.
"Ewan ko, marami ang naka-misinterpret na mga fans. But ako, I don’t have to apologize to them.
"I called up Kathryn and Liza agad-agad. Kung dala ko lang ang telepono ko, you can see the log, e. They said, 'Don’t worry about it, alam namin kung ano ang nangyayari.'
"Alam ko kung ano ang mga nagawa ko, and I said, 'I’m sorry kung nasaktan ko kayong dalawa.' Sabi nila, 'Hindi, wala kang ginawang mali.'”
He also revealed additional details about the viral video:
"Hindi nila [fans] alam kung ano ang real score. I don’t have to apologize for something kasi wala namang malicious intent yun…
“What I did... well, ganito ang real score, Liza was given a spiel na ang sasabihin niya dapat, 'Last three weeks na lang [ng] La Luna Sangre.'
"E, Liza, being a good artist and a real friend, sabi niya, 'Ayokong sabihin yun. Okay lang ba, Kuya Robi, ikaw na magsabi?'
"Sabi ko, okay, sige, na last three weeks na ng La Luna Sangre. Para hindi siya ma-bash ng mga KathNiels 'cause may issue pala.
"I didn’t know na may ganung conflict. Sabi ko, 'Ako na bahala.'
"Nandun kami sa backstage, si Daniel nandun, so sinabi ko lang, 'O, Liza, may gusto kang sabihin kay Daniel na last three of La Luna, kasi papasok ang Bagani.'"
Daniel and Kathryn’s show “La Luna Sangre” will end its run in three weeks.
It will be replaced by Liza and Enrique’s new show.
The teleserye is an action-fantasy series entitled “Bagani.”
KAMI is hoping that this controversy would finally have a closure with Robi’s recent statement!
