- A 42-year-old man performed circus stunts on Pilipinas Got Talent
- Everyone was on the edge of their seats as he performed
- Angel Locsin and Toni Gonzaga were extremely worried
Angel Locsin and Toni Gonzaga were visibly worried while they were watching Abraham Velasco perform dangerous stunts on Pilipinas Got Talent on February 17.
Angel was seen covering her face or having her mouth hang open, and at one point even collapsing on the judges table in nervousness.
"Pag nalaglag ka sasakalin kita!" Angel threatened the performer.
Toni, meanwhile, could not handle watching it backstage. She often hid backstage so she doesn't have to see the nerve-wracking stunt.
"Ayoko na! Di na ko makahinga!" said Toni.
Abraham, who hails from Bulacan, performed a comedy-laden balancing act.
He created a stack of wobbly platforms made up of hollow cylinder, drinking glasses and boards.
During his performance, Abraham would often pretend to lose his balance, drawing screams from the audience.
But every time, he successfully performs his stunt, to the great applause of the audience.
After the performance, Angel revealed that she couldn't applaud because she was extremely worried. She was actually praying for the end of the performance when Abraham was already safe.
"I'd rather see 'yung contestant na safe, nag-eenjoy. Though mukha ka namang nag-eenjoy sa pinakita mo kanina. Pero siyempre sa'kin, prayoridad ko ang safety mo," explained the judge.
Angel added: "Hindi ako makapalakpak kanina kasi inaantay kong matapos muna ang lahat bago ako pumalakpak kung kelan ka na ligtas. Pero natutuwa ako na ligtas ka, walang aksidente. So professional na professional ang pinakita."
Freddie Garcia applauded Abraham's decision to put comedy bits into his act. This separated him from other circus performers.
"May kasama ka kasing pinapatawa mo 'yung tao. Marami nang ganyang act, 'yung patong-patong na nagja-juggle, but the way you did it, I think you did a great job," said the judge.
All four judges gave their stamp of approval for Abraham. He will move on to the next round.
