Some netizens slammed Angeline, saying that what she did was inappropriate:
Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ako or maiinis sa video na to. I’ve been to Baguio many times. Sobrang hirap magtinda kasi when I was a child ngtitinda muna ako bago pumasok sa school. They seem joking Pero sana lng hindi na vinedeo. Anyhow, i still love you Angeline!
“Bakit parang pinagtripan nyo lang c kuya? Kailangan pa bang ivideo? Tsk!”
However, there were also many netizens who defended Angeline:
Angeline was adopted by Mama Bob because her biological mother believed that she was not fit to care for her because of her abusive husband.
The singer was finally able to meet her biological mom in 2012.
She considered their reunion as one of the best gifts she has received.
