10 Pinoy celebrity breakups that broke our hearts
There are many Pinoy celebrity couples who have managed to stay strong through thick and thin.
However, there are some couples who have separated due to various reasons.
KAMI learned from GMA Entertainment about some of the most heartbreaking celebrity breakups.

1. Sunshine Dizon and Timothy Tan
The married couple separated in 2016 due to a third party. Their conflict even involved Sunshine filing charges against Timothy for cheating on her. However, the two are now civil with each other and Sunshine has dropped the charges.
2. Vina Morales and Cedric Lee
The ex-couple broke up in 2009. Vina recently filed a case against Cedric for allegedly not following his visitation rights to their kids.
3. Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano
The married couple reportedly separated due to Cesar’s infidelity. Their marriage was annulled in 2013.
4. Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago
The actors separated in 2013. After getting into a public word war, the two are now civil with each other.
5. Kris Aquino and James Yap
Before their marriage was annulled, Kris was rumored to have separated from James due to the latter’s infidelity.
6. Aiko Melendez and Jomari Yllana
Aiko broke up with Jomari due to the latter’s involvement with actress Ara Mina.
7. Ruffa Gutierrez and Yilmaz Bektas
After they ended their four-year marriage in 2007, they started to hurl accusations against each other.
Yilmaz said that their marriage failed due to Ruffa’s excessive desire to succeed in showbiz. On the other hand, Ruffa accused Yilmaz of being physically abusive towards her.
8. Angelica Panganiban and Derek Ramsay
Angelica and Derek’s six-year relationship ended in 2013. What made the breakup even more heartbreaking was that it ended with a phone call.
9. Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano
Many thought that the two Kapamilya stars would finally have a happy ending after they got back together after their first breakup. However, Luis and Angel broke up again in 2016.
10. Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez
The two singers had their marriage annulled in 2013. There were rumors that it was due to Martin’s infidelity.
