- Leila Alcasid moved to the Philippines last year
- She is now staying with her dad Ogie Alcasid and stepmom Regine Velasquez
- She has a touching message for Regine that made her emotional
Ogie Alcasid's daughter with former wife Michelle van Eimeren, Leila Alcasid, is now staying in the Philippines.
She moved from Australia since last year to pursue her music career.
Leila just recently signed up with Star Music.
During an episode of Sarap Diva last February 3, Saturday, people were touched by Leila's message to her stepmom Regine Velasquez, which GMA reported.
It can be remembered that Ogie already addressed the issue about an alleged misunderstanding between Michelle and Leila, which KAMI reported earlier.
There were some speculations that the reason why Leila moved to the Philippines is because she and her mother Michelle had a misunderstanding.
However, Ogie denies the issue and said that the two are very very close.
"I just want to say thank you for the past year and you've been a wonderful mama to me, helping me adjust and making me feel comfortable. I can't imagine life without you anymore," Leila told Regine on Sarap Diva.
Regine was truly touched by her message.
"Thank you, sweetheart. Having you at home now, Ako din. I cannot imagine our house now without you."
Sherilyn Reyes, her other guest, was also moved by Leila's message.
"Ako ang naiyak dun."
The Sarap Diva host revealed that she's makulit when it comes to Leila.
"I can't sleep when she's not home. Makulit nga ako, tinetext ko sya 'san ka?'"
