- Maja Salvador is afraid of the dark
- She recounts how she does scenes that require dark lighting
- A production assistant would hide behind props to accompany her in the scene
She may be playing the strong-willed Ivy Aguas or the headstrong Lily Cruz in Wildflower, but Maja Salvador is deathly afraid of the dark!
On Magandang Buhay, the actress shared that she has the fear of darkness. So in order to do scenes that require dark lighting, a staff has to be with her.
One time, while shooting in Tagaytay, Maja was required to hide inside a closet under the stairs.
"Sabi ko, 'Direk, di ko kaya," said Maja to the Magandang Buhay hosts.
To assure Maja that she'll be fine, a production assistant hid behind carpets and rugs and joined her inside the closet.
She also shared that the staff does the same for scenes they shoot in the jungle.
"Minsan dun ka sa liblib muna e, 'yung di ka muna kita," said Maja when asked if the set lights do not help assuage her fears.
