Contradict to the rumors, Aiko Melendez clarified that she has nothing to do with ex-husband Jomari Yllana anymore.
This is in connection to the allegations that Aiko might file a case against Jomari who will soon be a father again to his child with live-in partner Joy Reyes.
“I’m very happy for them and no truth to the rumors that I am suing them.
“I like to clarify that because it’s causing tension between me and the future wife of Jomari.
“Walang ganun to begin with because matagal na kaming annulled ni Jomari.
“So, walang kaso na puwede kong ikaso kay Jomari.
“For a fact na may nakarelasyon naman na si Jomari na approved ako dun, and now na he’s having a baby, a baby is always a blessing, why would I hinder that happiness?”
"Pero ganun talaga, e, we all have to move on.
“The chapter of Jomari’s life in my life is closed now."
“It’s my respect dun sa upcoming baby, lalo na maselan yung pagbubuntis ni Joy.
“Ayoko nang mag-add ng tension dun, let’s give it to them.”
She also requested the public especially the media to stop spreading issues for it may affect the condition of Joy,
“Sana they will shy away from that chismis because it is not true because delikado ‘yung pagbubuntis nong partner ni Jomari. I don't think that it is going to be healthy for her hearing such intriga,” she added.
Aiko and Jomari has been separated for almost 15 years now.
They only have a son, Andrei who is already 19 years old.
Aiko also had a short-live marriage with model Martin Jickain to whom she had a daughter named Martina. Martin and Aiko separated in 2005.
