Mark Salling, best known for playing the character of Noah “Puck” Puckerman on Fox’s musical series “Glee,” passed away in Los Angeles at the age of 35.
KAMI learned from CNN that the actor’s attorney Michael Proctor has confirmed the tragic news.
"I can confirm that Mark Salling passed away early this morning. Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment,” Proctor said.
At 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Janaury 30, the Los Angeles Police found out about Salling’s body which was located in a wooded area near Tujunga.
According to WMUR 9, an unidentified police source reported that the actor apparently took his own life.
Salling was a regular cast member of “Glee” in its first four seasons and a recurring cast member in its last two seasons.
In 2016, he got into trouble with the law. He pleaded guilty to the charges and was waiting for the sentencing when he died.
The actor is survived by his parents and brother.
His family members are requesting for privacy as they mourn their great loss.
