A few articles ago, we reported about Cesar Montano speaking up and announcing that he is still fighting to see his kids.
What does Sunshine Cruz have to say about this?
(I don’t know with him. The kids and I are also confused as to why all of a sudden he’s so noisy.)
She refused to comment any further on the issue for the meantime.
Their accounts of how the children are affected seem contradictory, as seen in a recent PEP interview with Cesar, when he commented that “of course, nandun yung mga texts, pero makikita mong nakakalungkot, napipigilan sila ng kanilang ina.”
(Of course, they can text, but it’s sad that you can see how they are being restrained by their mother.)
When asked if she was affected by Cesar’s statements against her, she merely brushed it off.
“Nope, hindi ako napipikon. I've reached this stage in my life na natatawa na lang ako sa drama ng iba.
(No, I don’t get angry. I’ve reached this staged in my life where I just laugh at the drama of other people. I am focused on my kids and my work so I remain happy.)
(And I have other more important things to think about, rather than focusing on such sentiments. He can focus on his other children in the meantime. The kids are fine.)
Sunshine was then asked about her daughter’s reactions to the news. Her answer:
“They are strong enough to handle everything.
(They know everything and they aren’t affected. They don’t want their summer vacation to be ruined, so they’ve chosen not to focus on these things.)
She adds that the kids don’t want to see him just yet.
“Ayaw nila.
(They don’t want to. He should respect that. Eventually, everything will be okay. He probably shouldn’t mention the kids anymore in interviews, because the kids will just be driven away from him even further.)
Before the interview ended, Sunshine acknowledged Cesar’s support in the kids’ education, and that the children are thankful for his support in their schooling.
“They are still thankful for the educational support being given to them by their father.”
