Iza Calzado’s renovated modern condominium unit in Makati City

Iza Calzado is one of the most hardworking actresses in Philippine showbiz. As a fruit of her labor, the star was able to purchase a condominium unit in Makati City.
KAMI learned from YES! Magazine via Real Living Philippines that she also had the condo unit renovated.
For the renovation, Iza was helped by her close friend Nix Alanon, who is an interior decorator and a principal designer for the art and style company called FTADesign.
Friday Wintle, the mom of her fiancé Ben Wintle, also helped her design her home.
“A lot of it I consult with her ‘cause she’s very stylish. My God, idol ko siya. She’s the best,” she explained.
The actress was very much involved in the renovation, as she helped choose materials and pieces for her condo unit.
“Ang dami pang gagawin. Unti-unting binubuo…Ayoko talagang magmadali just for the sake of filling it up,” Iza said.
She also described her decorating style as eclectic.
“Hindi ko masabi ano’ng style. Honestly, no’ng una, dapat French siya. But I found it too girly, so I needed it to be edgier, but also quite feminine. That’s me—naughty and nice,” she explains. Aside from working with Nix, Iza also got ideas from her fiancée Ben Wintle’s mom, Friday Wintle. Iza adds.
Ben and Iza got engaged three months ago.
Iza’s British partner proposed to her at Sonya’s Garden in Tagaytay City.
The couple’s friends and family were present at the proposal.
