- Kris Aquino chose to stay positive despite broadcaster Jay Sonza's jab at her son Bimby
- He called Bimby "baklain" which irked netizens
- The Queen of All Media recently posts a message sharing her reason for not defending Bimby from Jay Sonza's criticisms
Kris Aquino chose to ignore Jay Sonza's negative comments against her son Bimby.
The online community did not like Jay's post where he called Bimby bakalain.
In a report by PEP, the broadcaster ranted about how Bimby's minor accident made headlines despite the more important issues in our country.
The netizens who are more educated and aware of the negative effects of bashing and bullying criticized Jay Sonza.
After days of ignoring this issue, Kris shares her reasons for staying calm despite the hurtful things which was said to Bimby.
According to her, she was raised to be strong and not to reciprocate rudeness. The Queen of All Media also expressed appreciation to her endorsement who showed support for her.
She also thanked everyone who helped defend her son.
In a lengthy Instagram post, she wrote,
- I’m only human, and more than that- i am a mother. When my son was senselessly bullied- any mother would have been w/in her rights to defend & fight back. This came today & it really overshadowed (no offense meant to all my other blessings) the happiness i felt w/ my personal triumphs. Because the MILO team called my son a CHAMP. The lengthy post i gave wasn’t meant to be a “promo”- i just shared na matibay ang buto ng bunso ko because truth is (and na kwento ko ‘to so many times), laking Nido sya, then when it was time to drink milk from the glass- the fresh milk still needed 2 scoops of Nido. Then when he turned 8, he said his morning milk needed Milo already. This was before we ever endorsed the product. And i was clueless na ang Milo wasn’t really meant to be mixed w/ fresh milk, okay na raw w/ just water- but kuya josh, bimb & me always drank it w/ fresh milk. The pictures are his physical bruises healing now. I let him read the post attacking him & i thank God he said he wasn’t affected at all because he knows himself well enough & he only felt bad because he saw me sad. #FAMILY this is a heartfelt thank you from a mom who went through the past 6 days questioning herself about her judgment in allowing her son’s life to not be private- thank you to the @milophilippines team for having Bimb’s back & the reassurance you gave me. And to all of you who proved to us how ready you were to protect a child, my bunso- you have my gratitude forever.
