- JM de Guzman is making a showbiz comeback
- On Rated K's January 21 episode he was interviewed by Korina Sanchez
- There are rumors that ABS-CBN was irked by how Korina conducted the interview
After two years, JM de Guzman is finally back and he is very excited to work again.
The actor made a TV guesting on Rated K last January 21 and for the first time he opened up about his rehabilitation due to drug use.
According to JM, Star Cinema and ABS-CBN have already major plans for his comeback.
“We are prioritizing po ‘yung recovery. Nandun naman po ‘yung full trust ko, at alam ko naman po na mabibigyan ako ng tamang project. Excited na rin po akong makapagtrabaho," JM said.
He was also hoping for a part 2 of his movie with Angelica Panganiban, That Thing Called Tadhana.
“Never po dumapo sa isip ang mag-quit. Actually, lagi kong gustong lumabas o gustong bumalik. Pero umabot sa point na may pag-asa pa ba? Mabibigyan pa ba ako? Parang ganun na ‘yung self-defeating thoughts. I went through that process na labanan ‘yung thoughts na ‘yun," he explained.
However, there are rumors that ABS-CBN particularly Star Magic was irked by Korina Sanchez's Rated K interview with JM, which Abante reported.
Instead of focusing on how JM was able to cope, Korina focused on his drug use.
The network wanted positive vibes with regards to JM's comeback.

JM de Guzman started his showbiz career back in 2009.
His biggest break was ABS-CBN's 'Angelito: Batang Ama,' but the show had to kill his character because his condition is not getting any better, which Summit Express reported.
After a total of 11 months inside the rehab, he made a showbiz comeback and was able to do 2 projects which is That Thing Called Tadhana and All of Me.
However, the actor went back inside the rehab due to a relapse.
Finally, after 2 years, JM is back and ready to take on the new projects that are lined up for him.
