Gabbi Garcia gets rushed to the hospital due to a severe kidney infection

Kapuso star Gabbi Garcia finally revealed why she was absent at the press conference of the new GMA teleserye “Sherlock Jr.”

KAMI learned from GMA News that Gabbi was admitted to the hospital after feeling pain in her back while on her way to the press con.

It turned out that she actually has a severe kidney infection.

Gabbi posted her photo in the hospital in response to a netizen who was asking why she was not at the “Sherlock Jr” press con.

"Eto po ah. Sorry po, wala po ako sa presscon dahil naka confine ako."

Gabbi’s fans also tweeted about her illness.

"Why is Gabbi not present at the Sherlock Jr Presscon? Gabbi was on her way to the presscon when she felt pain at her back. She's now admitted at the hospital and was diagnosed with severe kidney infection. by: G handler. Get well soon ate girl!"

“Sherlock Jr” will start airing on January 29, 2018.

It will be replacing Marian Rivera’s superhero show “Super Ma’am.”

Aside from Gabbi, the teleserye also stars Ruru Madrid, Ai-Ai delas Alas, Andre Paras and Tonton Gutierrez.
