Pinoy celebrities who used to be enemies but are now friends
Forgiving people who have hurt us can be a very difficult thing to do. Fortunately, there are still many people who are willing to humble themselves in order for bygones to be bygones.
KAMI learned from GMA Entertainment about these Filipino celebrities who were enemies once but have become friends these days.
1. Marian Rivera and Katrina Halili
The Kapuso stars used to have a rivalry while working on “Marimar” and “My Beloved.”
These days, Marian is a godmother to Katrina’s daughter Katie – who was a flower girl at the former’s wedding with Dingdong Dantes.
2. Marian Rivera and Lovi Poe
The rivalry between the two actresses started when Lovi allegedly snubbed Marian, supposedly greeting only Dingdong when the couple encountered her. Marian then also allegedly snubbed Lovi, only greeting Solenn Heussaff during a live program.
Fortunately, the two were able to reconcile at the 15th anniversary party ng YES! Magazine in 2017.
3. Ruffa Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama
The celebrity mom and daughter had disagreements over the love life of the latter.
The two are currently okay with each other.
4. Ara Mina and Cristine Reyes
The celebrity siblings’ quarrel was highly publicized, as Ara filed complaints of libel and grave coercion against her younger sister.
However, the love of the sisters for each other triumphed over their misunderstandings.
5. Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador
Their rivalry began after Maja got into a relationship with Gerald Anderson, the ex-boyfriend of Kim.
Now that Maja has broken up with Gerald, the two have reconciled and are very civil with each other.
6. Hayden Kho, Vicki Belo and Katrina Halili
After a scandalous video of Hayden and Katrina was leaked, the three celebrities drifted apart from each other.
Today, Hayden and Vicki are now married and are friends with Katrina.
7. Ai-Ai delas Alas and Kris Aquino
Ai-Ai and Kris, who were close friends, had a quarrel years ago.
But during the wedding of Marian and Dingdong, the two stars were able to forgive one another.
8. Willie Revillame, John Estrada and Randy Santiago
Willie got furious at the two for accepting an offer to do a show when he had other plans for them.
John reconciled with Willie during the wake of his dad. Randy now works on Willie’s show.
9. Claudine Barretto and Mark Anthony Fernandez
They stopped talking to each other after breaking up as a couple.
These days, they are now civil with each other. Claudine even defended Mark Anthony from fake news about him.
10. Aiko Melendez and Ara Mina
The good friends became enemies when Ara started dating Jomari Yllana, Aiko's ex-husband.
They reconciled during a wake of a common friend.
