- Queenie Padilla defends her father Robin Padilla over PGT incident
- She said that it was Kim Jiwan who was lacking respect
- Netizens react on her statement
Pilipinas Got Talent's January 13 episode became very much controversial when one of the judges, Robin Padilla, lectured a Korean contestant for not speaking Tagalog.
According to Rappler's report, he won't allow himself to be a slave to foreigners in his own country.
He was quoted saying:
“Kung tayo mananatili tayong alipin ng dayuhan, kayo na lang. Hindi ako magpapaalipin sa dayuhan sa bansa ko. Hindi mangyayari 'yon. Ako ang hari dito dahil bansa ko 'to.”
Now, Queenie Padilla, the eldest daughter of Robin comes to her father's defense and took to social media to voice her opinion, which Fashion Pulis reported.
According to Queenie, his father is not a racist.
First, it was Kim Jiwan who was disrespectful when he asked Robin, "Can I use you?"
It's more proper if Jiwan said "Can you please help me?"
Of course, her father would get offended.
