- Actresses Angelica Panganiban, Bela Padilla, and Kim Chiu share a close friendship
- They are collectively called AngBeKi
- Angelica explained what their friendship means to each other
On "Tonight With Boy Abunda", Angelica Panganiban revealed how special Bela Padilla and Kim Chiu are to her.
"Iba sila sa lahat!" said Angelica to host Boy Abunda.
The actress said she appreciates how fun and lighthearted their friendship is. But somehow, that crazy enjoyment led to a deep and strong friendship.
Angelica compared their friendship to a corny joke:
"Yung kababawan, yung konting tawa na ganun, bigla siyang lumalalim. Yung mga joke na sobrang waley, sobrang waley niyan pero tawang-tawa ka.
"Parang ganun yung friendship namin. Yung parang pag tiningnan mo, 'Ano ba 'tong tatlong to.' Pero ang lalim namin, ang lalim ng pagmamahal namin sa isa't isa. Na hindi namin maintindihan kung bakit. Sobra namin siyang naaappreciate."
AngBeKi, their funny collective name, celebrated their first three months of friendship on October 2, 2017 with "so high school" activities: neoprint photobooth and movie date.
Their barkada has already amassed its own following. A fact that Angelica said would make it embarrassing if they have a fight and a falling out.
"Sabi ko nga natatakot nga ako, sabi ko pano pag nag-away-away tayo nakakahiya. Dami na nating followers," said Angelica with a laugh.
Angelica also revealed on TWBA that she and Bela have the same tattoo together. Angelica tattooed the letter "A" on her wrist, while Bela have "K" for her real name, Krista.
They are waiting for Kim to have the same tattoo on her wrist.
The three became unexpected friends after Bela and Kim gatecrashed a party that Angelica was invited to.
On a report by ABS-CBN News, Kim said: “Gatecrasher kami ni Bela. Galing kami sa isang birthday tapos ayaw pa naming umuwi. Pumunta kami doon sa birthday ni direk Andoy Ranay na nandoon si Angelica. Ang saya saya. Nagtawanan na lang kami hanggang sa lagi na lang kami lumalabas."
The three are all actresses under ABS-CBN.
Angelica is starring in a movie with Judy Ann Santos. "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes" will be shown starting January 17.
Bela also has an upcoming movie with Carlo Aquino titled "Meet Me in St. Gallen".
Kim stars in the teleserye "Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin".
