- A 17-year-old girl was kidnapped from Biñan, Laguna
- She was forced into a van where there were two more girls and a boy
- The girl was taken to QC to sell sampaguita
A 17-year-old girl, Mai-Mai (not the girl's real name), recounted the terrifying experience she had of being kidnapped from Biñan, Laguna and eventually taken to Quezon City to sell sampaguita.
In a GMA News report, it stated that the girl encounted the three armed men at Capinpin St., Biñan.
As she was afraid of them, she acquiesced and entered the van where she found three more kids, two girls and another boy.
According to Mai-mai, the armed men kept on running a blade on their back to prevent them from fighting.
After a while, Mai-mai's abductors brought them to a marketplace in Quezon City. They were then instructed to sell sampaguita.
Mai-mai then looked for an opportunity to escape and it came when a bus passed by. She boarded the bus and alighted at a mall where she contacted a relative.
Based on the story of Mai-mai's mother, it was her sister who picked up Mai-mai.
"Iyak daw po ng iyak tapos nanginginig daw po. Tapos parang gutom na gutom, sabi ng ate ko," said Mai-mai's mother.
As of this writing, Mai-mai hasn't yet gone back to school, but Police Inspector Mark Rabanal, Biñan Police dputy chief will continue investigating.
