Nakakabilib si bossing! Vic Sotto shares the secret to keep the family intact

- Vic Sotto shared his thought about how to keep the family intact

- Though he had failed relationships from the past, Vic Sotto maintained good relationship with his kids and his exes

- He also believed it is the parents who play the crucial part in maintaining a close family relationship

Bossing Vic Sotto revealed he never had a problem co-parenting with his kids' moms.

The TV host actor had four grown up kids and Baby Tali is the latest addition to their family.

According to an article by Smart Parenting, KAMI learned about Vic's answer to the question, Is he a strict or spoiler type of father.

“I’m a little bit of both. Kung kailangan maging disciplinarian, nagdidisiplina ako. Kung kelangan mag-spoil, nagsu-spoil din ako.”

Being a grandfather, Vic shared he avoids meddling with his kids' private matters except when they ask for his help. “I’m the type of parent na hindi ako nangingialam sa mga desisyon na pwede nilang pagdesisyunan. Sina Danica, Oyo, I only speak 'pag kinailangan nila ng advice at pag kailangang i-discipline.”

After two decades of having his youngest Paulina, Vic revealed he is excited to be a dad again. “New talaga dahil yung last baby ko, yung ex-bunso ko, is now 26 years old and may asawa na. Isa na lang sa mga anak ko ang walang asawa si Vico.”

He also revealed having a good relationship with his exes when it comes to co-parenting their kids. “Like si Oyo no’n medyo malikot na bata, sa akin pinatira ni Dina para madisiplina. At siguro maganda naman ang nagawa ko for him kasi ganda ng attitude niya ngayon at buhay niya ngayon.”

He was also asked if he had ever spanked his children while growing up.

"Nung araw namamalo ako, pero bihira. Ang hirap, e. Kasi sabi rin nila dapat pag nagdisiplina [namamalo] sabi nila na Bible raw,” he relates.

“Sa mga anak ko, si Danica minsan ko lang napalo. Ako ang unang umiyak. Si Oyo, konti lang din, pero di ko na inulit. Si Paulina, never.

“Si Vico minsan kasi utos ng nanay nasa Bible daw yun. Minsan ko lang ginawa, pero hindi ko nagustuhan ang feeling.” said Vic.

Needless to say, his kids grew up to be kind and respectful which Vic credits to children's closeness to parents.

“Key word is bonding, bonding kahit na ano ginagawa ninyo. It doesn’t have to be expensive, pwede namang naglalaro lang kayo ng 123 Pass [card game] and as far as relationships are concerned, yung pamilya I think ang susi pa rin [nasa] sa father and the nanay. Yung mag-asawa pa rin. Sila ang maga-guide ng family.”

“I think it’s a lifelong process. So ang susi pa rin is yung sa magulang how to keep the family intact.”

Danica Sotto-Pingris and Oyo Boy Sotto, his children with ex-wife Dina Bonnevie, Paulina, his 26-year-old daughter with former actress Angelu Luz and 28-year-old Pasig City councilor Vico Sotto is his son with actress Coney Reyes are very close to each other despite having different moms.

Vic's current wife, Pauleen Luna gave birth to Baby Talitha Marie last November.
