Kapamilya loveteam Elisse Joson and McCoy de Leon finally opened up about the rumors concerning their relationship with McCoy’s former on-screen partner Maris Racal.
From what KAMI learned, Elisse and McCoy told veteran TV host Boy Abunda on his late night talk show, “Tonight with Boy Abunda,” that they are friends with Maris and her current loveteam, Iñigo Pascual.
McCoy also clarified that he and Maris did not have any hard feelings about the end of their team-up. But the young Star Magic artist admitted they both feel sad over the breakup of their loveteam.
“Hindi nagkatampuhan pero nalungkot siyempre,” McCoy told Tito Boy. “Kasi magkatrabaho kami at nagkaroon kami ng show."
“Pero after namin magkita ulit, nakangiti naman siya,” he added. “Parang nagkaroon kami ng pagkakaintindihan.”
Apart from McCoy, Tito Boy also asked Elisse if she felt jealous towards Maris. According to the 21-year-old reality TV star, she does not feel any jealousy.
Elisse, however, admitted that she asked McCoy about his partnership with Maris.
“Alam ko po kasi na loveteam sila dati,” Elisse said. “Pagnagkukuwentuhan kami ni McCoy, tinatanong ko lang anong mga story from before.”
When asked if she felt any pain, Elisse responded, “Wala naman po kasi ang importante ang ngayon.”
Aside from the issues on Maris, Tito Boy also asked McCoy what he is willing to do in order to get closer to Elisse’s family. According to McCoy, he will show how he takes care of Elisse.
He will also show how sincere his intentions are. Despite the odds, McCoy admitted that he will never give up to win the trust of Elisse’s family.
The couple was also asked about their word of endearment toward each other — “lablab.” According to McLisse, they chose the word because it fits how they define their relationship.
Meanwhile, Elisse and McCoy also hinted about their upcoming launching movie as a loveteam. It is set for release in 2018 and filming will reportedly commence this January.
Elisse and McCoy were also part of the MMFF 2017 entry, “Ang Panday.” The movie was produced and directed by Primetime King Coco Martin.
