The period musical drama "Ang Larawan" bagged the Best Picture award on December 27 at the Kia Theatre. Runners up are the Erich Gonzales-starrer "Siargao" and "All of You", starring Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsey.

But aside from the well-deserved acting and technical awards, fans look forward to how their favorite stars dressed up for the glamorous night.

The theme of the awards night was "Lilac and Glitter" and these women definitely delivered all the sparkle!

Number one scene-stealer is none other than Erich Gonzales, who was hailed Female Star of the Night.

The Siargao star is really stunning in a custom-made gown.

Jasmine Curtis-Smith also turned heads that night with her all white ensemble. She won Best Supporting Actress for the surfing love story "Siargao".

"Haunted Forest" star Jane Oineza, meanwhile, was all glammed up in black. She's escorted on the red carpet by Jameson Blake who also stars in the movie.

The show was co-hosted by Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa. She's definitely beauty queen ready in a pink Francis Libiran gown. Kylie is also part of the "Ang Panday" cast.

Last year's Best Supporting Actress Phoebe Walker also made an appearance. She looked ethereal in a lilac gown.

The MMFF is the country's most popular film festival. It is organized by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.

Yearly, it draws millions in gross earnings for the film industry.

As of December 28, this year's festival has already earned more than P400 million, surpassing last year's earnings.

The festival runs from December 25, 2017 to January 7, 2018.
