- Liza Diño won a FAMAS Best Supporting Actress award for the movie 'Ringgo: The dog shooter'

- She captioned her post with the reason why the award is so important to her.
KAMI learned from ABS-CBN that Liza Diño felt so happy for winning the award.
In her Instagram post, Liza shared that Aiza Seguerra serves as her inspiration for winning the award.
"Galing sa FAMAS ang unang-unang major acting award na natanggap mo noong bata ka," Diño wrote as her caption. "Kaya para sa akin, napakaespesyal nitong award na 'to."
"Pa'no ba 'yan, lablab, mayroon na rin ako. Hahaha! Actually, dapat hati tayo dito dahil ikaw ang sumalo ng lahat ng hugot na ginamit ko just to give life to my character in this film. Love you, mahal ko. I share this with you," she added.
They now both have a FAMAS which they consider as a very significant thing for both of them.
'Ringgo: the Dog Shooter' is about a young dog-shooter, whose life turns complicated after he finds a mother figure in a 40-year-old dog breeder, with a pet Doberman.
The film was directed by Rahyan Carlos whom she thanked in another Instagram post.
"Ringgo" The Dog Shooter" also bagged Best Story and Best Child Performer (Lance Lucido) in the 65th FAMAS awards.
Liza is also the head of the Film Development Council of the Philippines.
