The best revenge: Woman loses 105 pounds because husband and his mistress mocked her weight

- An American woman found motivation to transform her life after finding out her husband is cheating on her

- To make matters worse, he and the mistress were laughing at her behind her back

- From more than 262 pounds, she is now at 155 pounds and a fitness instructor too

It was the most devastating discovery for a wife. Only a few months after giving birth, Betsy Ayala found out her husband was having an affair. To add insult to injury, they were also mocking her weight and calling her names.

A weaker woman might have fallen apart after reading those illicit and offensive Facebook messages between her husband and his mistress.

But Ayala transformed her pain into heart-strong motivation. She turned her life around and showed the world that self-love is the best revenge against cheaters.

According to UK news site Independent, Ayala's relationship with her husband started when she was just 17 years old.

"I had been with him since I was 17 and pretty much devoted my life to our relationship and him," said Ayala.

The 34-year-old Houston, Texas resident said she also had a moment where her world fell apart.

"I didn't know what to do with myself at the time. I was still over 200 pounds with a six-month-old and everything that I had worked for had just vanished," said Ayala.

She had been trying to lose weight before she found out her husband was a cheater.

But the heartbreaking discovery made her more determined to succeed in her goals.

She started going to zumba classes and worked out with her sister. She also took out sugary snacks from her diet.

In two years, she has lost more than 100 pounds.

Her daughter became her number one motivation.

In an Instagram post, she said she wanted to show her daughter how to be a strong woman. She added that her daughter is the reason for everything she does.

"Everyone assumes I made a change in my life when my relationship fell apart but I actually started when she was 3 months old before that happened and she is the reason I kept going even through the most difficult time in my life because I knew that now more than ever she was going to need a strong mom and I never want her to feel like she's the reason I didn't do something she is the reason I do everything."

Ayala hopes she can also pass on the value of self-love and taking care of yourself to her young daughter.

Ayala is now an online wellness coach and has been inspiring her more than 96,000 followers on Instagram.

And it also looks like a special guy has been taking care of her heart now.

Ayala now believes what her ex-husband did turned out to be a blessing because of how it completely changed her life.

KAMI applauds Betsy Ayala for her strength and determination to change her life for herself and for her daughter.
