- Jericho Rosales opened up about being a father and a husband on “TWBA”
- Echo also revealed what and who are his source of happiness
- “Siargao” actor admitted his willingness to give up his showbiz career for his family
Many Jericho Rosales fans have surely missed the actor in the big screen. But now, Jericho is back on the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2017 entry, “Siargao,” KAMI learned.
In a recent interview with veteran TV host Boy Abunda on the late-night talk show, “Tonight with Boy Abunda,” 38-year-old Echo candidly talked about his life as a father and as a husband.
According to the Kapamilya star, he is a “loving, giving and supportive” dad to his teenage son, Santino. He added that their father-and-son relationship is like “magkabarkadas.”
As for being a husband, the “Siargao” actor admitted that he is far from being perfect but prays to be a better husband to his wife Kim Jones. He even praised himself as an “amazing husband.”
“I just feel like every day, I wanna be a better husband,” Echo confessed. “I pray that I become a better husband to Kim and I can say that I’m an amazing husband.”
“Not perfect and a work in progress,” he added.
When Tito Boy asked him what is making him happy, Echo revealed that “bikes, surfing and his wife” are his sources of happiness.
But when Tito Boy asked if he is willing to turn his back on the entertainment industry to live a quiet, simple life by the sea with Kim, Echo can’t help but admit that the offer is tempting.
“That’s very tempting… to be honest with you,” Echo told Tito Boy. “But kung gusto pa ng mga tao ng mga istorya at lessons at gusto pa nila akong maging vessel at tagapaghatid ng mensahe, I would.”
“But anytime I would just chill with my wife sa beach with our dogs… with maybe our future kids,” he added.
Meanwhile, Jericho Rosales is currently part of the MMFF 2017 entry, “Siargao,” which is under the direction of Paul Soriano. Other cast also include Erich Gonzales and Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
As for Echo’s son, Santino, he currently has his sights on modeling. In fact, he has been modeling for two years and works for the Professional Models Association.
