Based on the initial investigations, authorities noticed Ica appearing “uneasy” as she tried looking for a change to her P1,000 bill. Unfortunately, the coffee shop did not have a change.

The police then traced the CCTV footage in the area and followed Ica as she to a convenience store to buy a small bottled water. From there, Ica went away and disappeared for three days

. December 21 to 23, Thursday until Saturday

Following the last sighting at a convenience store, there were reports claiming that Ica was seen in Novaliches and Lucban, Quezon. Unfortunately, the authorities was not able to confirm if those claims will lead to Ica’s whereabouts.

Also during this time, Ica’s family started a trending plea on social media with a hashtag #FindIca. They used social media platforms to ask for help and express their loving thoughts and messages.

December 23, Saturday

In the early evening of Dec. 23, Saturday, a group of college friends from Laguna College were seated inside the famous coffee shop, Starbucks at an SM mall in San Pablo, Laguna. According to 19-year-old Danica Bragado noticed a girl that looked like Ica reading a book outside, near the glass window.

Danica thought that the girl was familiar as she looked like the missing person in the news. But she doubted herself because the girl has a “drawstring bag” with her, which was the opposite from what was reported that she left her bag, her laptop and her cellphone at a café in Sucat, Parañaque.

The group then decided to take a groufie that captured Ica with the jacket and a bonnet, which were the last pieces of clothing she was seen wearing. But when a couple took her seat, Ica left the café and went inside the mall.

At past 11 p.m., Danica and her friend Yra Reyes, who also saw Ica in the news, decided to post the information and the picture on Twitter. Bragado also revealed that they tried contacting Ica’s mom on Facbook but she was not able to response.

Fortunately, Ica’s sister Bea saw the tweet and her mom finally contacted Yra for details.
