Filipina gymnast Breanna Labadan bested gymnasts from around the region in the 11-year-old category of the Hong Kong Queens Cup 2017 International Rhythmic Gymnastic competitions.
The international tournament was held on December 16 to 17 in Hong Kong.
She was named Individual All-Around Champion, according to a report by Rappler. She defeated representatives from Malaysia, Singapore, China, and Hong Kong.
The young gymnast won gold in the Ball Apparatus, Clubs Apparatus, and the Individual All-Around routines. She also got a bronze in the Ribbon Apparatus routine.
Her mother Laurice Labadan was very happy with Breanna's efforts.
"Her triumph was a result of dedication and hard work. We dedicate this to God and the Philippines," said Laurice in Rappler's report.
The young gymnast from Butuan is a member of the Gymnastic Association of the Philippines (GAP) and studies at St. Scholastica College in Manila.
