President Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte finally takes his stand regarding the pre-debut photoshoot of his granddaughter Isabelle Duterte in Malacañang Palace.
According to a report from GMA, during the 39th birthday of Senator Manny Pacquiao where Duterte is a guest, the President said that this issue is just a small matter and everyone who goes to the palace takes photos of themselves too.
"'Yung isang anak ko, and lumabas nga doon sa Daily Star na nagpa-picture. Ano ba naman 'yan? Kadugo ko 'yan eh. Small matter, gamitin lang 'yung Malacañang. Wala naman ako doon," Duterte explained.
"But even if I was there, itong granddaughter ko magpa-picture, lahat nga ng mga bisita pumupunta diyan, nagpapa-picture eh. You know, that girl, she's going to be 18 years old," he said.
Isabelle Duterte was the recent talk of the town when she used Malacañang Palace as her venue for her pre-debut photoshoot.
People said that Malacañang Palace is not an appropriate place to do her photoshoot.
She even posed with the presidential seal as her backdrop.
Isabelle Duterte is the granddaughter of President Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte.
She is a Grade 12 student at Ateneo de Davao.
She is the first child of Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte and his ex-wife, Lovelie Sangkola Sumera.
