Kapuso actress Jade Lopez is getting her dream wedding next year when she walks down the aisle at the Manila Cathedral on her birthday in October.

In an interview with PEP, Jade shared that she really prayed hard for them to get the historic cathedral as their wedding venue.

She mentioned how difficult it was to book the church because of high demand all year round.

It was really a stroke of luck that they managed to secure the cathedral and the date, October 22, which is also Jade's birthday.

"Talagang meant na ikasal kami sa historical church na iyon," said Jade to PEP.

Jade got engaged to fiancé Rocky Siccion in January 2017.

The couple originally planned to have their wedding at Misibis Bay in Albay, but decided against it because the chapel was too small.

Jade shared that they want to be able to invite all their friends and relative. They also thought it would be difficult for some of their older family members to travel for their wedding.

The actress said they might just have their honeymoon in Misibis.

Her fellow Starstruck alumna Christine Reyes and Stef Prescott will serve as two of her bridesmaids.

She joked that all her female friends are already married so she might not need to have a bouquet throw.

She mentioned that only Sheena Halili, another Starstruck batchmate, is still single.

"Kung si Sheena ay single pa sa araw ng wedding ko, iaabot ko na lang sa kanya ang bouquet!" said Jade.

Jade last appeared in the teleserye "Alyas Robin Hood".

She also guest starred in the superhero series "Super Ma'am".

The actress has recently signed on to Firestarters Productions, which will be providing her projects for next year.

Jade hopes she'll get another regular teleserye in 2018. She also wishes to do independent films.
