- Actress Heart Evangelista is one of Philippine showbusiness' most beautiful faces of her generation
- Dawn Zulueta, who started her career in the late 80s, is heralded as a timeless beauty
- The two met recently at an event
Heart Evangelista couldn't help but gush on Instagram after meeting fellow actress Dawn Zulueta in person at an event on December 15.
She wrote on the caption of their picture together: "She's even more beautiful in person! I admire her grace and style... such elegance!"
The two actresses mostly work on different networks and have little chances to meet.
Heart stars in the Kapuso teleserye "My Korean Jagiya". Meanwhile, Dawn's previous TV projects are mostly for the Kapamilya network.
However, the 48-year-old actress has been expanding her projects this year.
She is starring in the movie "Meant to Beh" with Vic Sotto, a Kapuso veteran.
In earlier reports, Dawn had expressed dismay over the strict separation of network artists based on contract exclusivity.
"Ako, I think it's exciting when actors are able to work together without boundaries because we are only divided by the boundaries set by our contracts and I think that's sad. It did not use to be that way," lamented the actress in an interview with PEP.
She also expressed regret about the way die-hard network fans tend to bash competing artists.
"It's such a big deal for a lot of people when it really shouldn't be, because I think we come from one industry. I remember once upon a time when this was just one big family. And there was no such thing as you come from that clan and we come from this clan," said Dawn.
Her movie "Meant to Beh" also stars Kapamilya actors Sue Ramirez and Daniel Matsunaga, as well as Kapuso artists Andrea Torres and Ruru Madrid.
It is one of the official entries to the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival and will be shown starting December 25.
