Christmas is indeed a time for giving as one die-hard fan expressed her desire to donate her long hair to Vice Ganda. The Kapamilya TV host/comedienne was touched by the gesture of one of the madlang people, who was emotional when she told Ganda about her wish.

In the video that KAMI obtained from ABS-CBN Entertainment’s official YouTube channel, one studio audience member attracted the attention of Ganda and his fellow “It’s Showtime” hosts — Amy Perez, Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario.

In the audience, a woman was holding a placard saying, “Vice edonate ko buhok sayo… Happy bday to me.”

The hosts took noticed of the woman’s crowning glory because it was very long and beautiful. Ganda told the madlang people that he is, in fact, looking for wig or hair extensions that are long because it’s a trend nowadays.

Ganda also advised the woman, identified as Ate Charie, to just sell her hair when she’ll have a haircut. Ate Charie, however, insisted that she will just donate it to “The Revenger Squad” star.

“Ate Vice, idodonate ko lang po sa inyo,” Ate Charie emotionally told Ganda. “Kasi ko pong ipaputol pero ibibigay ko na po sa inyo.”

To lighten up the mood, Ganda responded that he will also cut Hilario’s neck to give to Ate Charie in return, making the audience to burst into laughter. But on a serious note, Ganda told the woman that he will let her hairstylist give her a haircut service.

Ganda then asked Ate Charie for the reason why she wanted to cut her hair short. Ate Charie then explained that she’s often experiencing hair loss (but used the term “nalalaglag”), which prompted Ganda to worry that it could end her career.

“Hindi po kasi lagi po siyang nalalaglag, eh sabi ko po sa sarili ko, sa birthday ko na lang po idodonate ko para kahit papano nakatulong po ako sa kapwa at bago man po ako mawala, nakagawa po ako nang mabuti,” Ate Charie explained.

Ganda was so touched and thanked Ate Charie, saying he really appreciates “the thought” that Ate Charie thought of her for her hair. The Unkabogable star gave her a hug and invited her to watch movies.

Ate Charie also shared that she really wished to have an opportunity to talk to Ganda and give her hair to the comedienne. She even pleaded to the guards but she was advised to write a letter and send it to the post office instead.

Charie added that the guard even asked her why she would willingly give her hair to Ganda, citing the fact that the box-office actor is already rich. This prompted Ganda to call out the management for the “nosy” security guards.

“Sino ang guard na pakialamero na yan?” Ganda said. “Bakit ganon? Nanawagan kami sa management bakit may mga guard na pakialamero sa ABS? Bakit nakikialam kayo sa mga desisyon ng mga tao?”

“At tsaka bakit pinagkakalat niyo na mayaman ako hindi ako pwedeng tumanggap ng regalo?” the TV host added. “Oh my God! Ano, hindi ako pwedend tumanggap?”

Meanwhile, Ganda thanked his avid fan for making him happy and for the love she showed. Ate Charie also emotionally thanked Ganda, saying she always watches the show.

“Para pasayahin mo ako ng ganito, nararamdaman ko siguro kahit papano napasaya din kita minsan sa buhay mo,” Ganda told Charie. “Salamat sa pagkakataong iyon.”
