- Comedienne also denied Revillame fired all his co-hosts

Kapuso TV host and comedienne Donita Nose became a household name for being part of the hit GMA-7 variety show, “Wowowin.” Unfortunately, she is no longer part of the program but it doesn’t mean Nose had some ill feelings to its main host, Willie Revillame, and the show itself.

Based on the report that KAMI learned, Nose is more grateful to Revillame and to the show for giving her a break in the entertainment industry. Despite her sudden disappearance on the show, the comedienne remains optimistic and feel indebted for all the opportunities she had in her career for being part of the program.

“Wala akong sama ng loob kay Kuya Wil,” Nose clarified, as quoted by PhilStar’s Pang-Masa (PM) publication. “Sobra-sobrang, sobra-sobrang pasasalamat [ko] sa kanya sa naitulong niya sa akin.”

Nose added that she won’t be able to appear to other Kapuso shows if not for her exposure on “Wowowin.”

“Kasi hindi naman ako mapupunta sa Celebrity Bluff, kung hindi naman ako nakita sa Wowowin, hindi ako mapupunta ng Dear Uge kundi sa Wowowin, hindi ako mapupunta ng kahit anong show dito sa GMA kundi dahil sa Wowowin,” she admitted. “Kaya, sa kanya nag-umpisa ang lahat.”

When it comes to Revillame’s and the show’s contributions to her rising career, Nose emphasized that being part of the “Wowowin” family was one of the most important events of her life. According to GMA News, she is very grateful because she became popular because of the show.

“Sabi ko nga sa kanya, utang na loob ko ‘yung mga nangyayari ngayon sa buhay ko,” Nose added. “Isa ito sa pinakamahalagang nangyari sa buhay ko na naging artista ako, na nakilala ako kahit papaano. Siya ang nagbigay ng break sa akin na parang bilang ganito nga, bading.”

In spite of what happened and the circumstances that led to her disappearance from the show, the Kapuso star admitted that all is well between them. She also respected the reasons and the explanations on why she had to leave the show and she believed that Revillame also loved her.

“Alam kong minahal naman ako ni Kuya pagdating sa show,” she confessed. “At saka sobrang love ko ‘yun.”

Nose added that she also told Revillame that she and fellow “Wowowin” star Tekla won’t be where they are right now if not for him and the show. As for her message to Revillame, Nose is just so thankful for the great opportunities that came to her way because of the Willie and his program.

“Doon kami nag-umpisa sa kanya so, thank you Kuya,” Nose said. “Mahal na mahal kita kahit na hindi tayo magkasama ngayon dahil marami kang ginagawa sa show mo, pero still nandito pa rin naman ako para sa’yo.”

Meanwhile, Donita Nose has previously denied that Revillame fired all his “Wowowin” co-hosts, including her, Ariella Arida, Ashley Ortega, Sugar Mercado and Verna. As per PEP, the rumored termination was due to an incident that happened during a taped episode last Oct. 17.

During the incident, Revillame reportedly saw his co-hosts whispering at each other backstage. There were also speculations that claimed Revillame getting angry at his co-hosts Verna and Mercado.

Nose, however, refuted the issues, saying that “Wowowin” director John Paul Panizales told them that there were no tapings because of the All Soul’s Day holiday. Nose also denied the speculations that she had frequent absences.

Speaking of the "whispering" issue that transpired during the "Wowowin" taping, KAMI did a comical YouTube "whisper challenge" video titled, "This hilarious KAMI Whisper Challenge will leave you laughing in tears."

Despite the circumstances, KAMI admires Donita Nose's gratefulness as she continues her journey in showbiz.
