Vice Ganda, Coco Martin still friends?! ‘The Revenger Squad’ star and ‘Ang Panday’ actor refute conflict rumors over MMFF entries

- Vice Ganda denied that he’s not in good terms with fellow Kapamilya star Coco Martin

- Martin stressed everything is okay between him and the Unkabogable star

- Martin said he’s not competing with Ganda over their MMFF entries

Longtime friends Vice Ganda and Coco Martin did not join forces to make a single movie this year. But despite having two separate entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2017, both actors stressed they are not competing with each other.

In October, reports claiming a “bad blood” between Ganda and Martin have surfaced on various publications. The rumors started when the two longtime friends decided to star in two different MMFF films.

According to the report that KAMI obtained from ABS-CBN News, Ganda will star in the superhero-themed movie, “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad.” Martin, on the other hand, will headline the classic Carlo J. Caparas fantasy creation, “Ang Panday.”

Despite the fact that their movies are both included in the competition, Ganda denied the rift speculations with Martin.

“Sinagot ko na iyan dati,” the 41-year-old “It’s Showtime” host added. “Sinagot na din ni Coco. Hindi kami magkaaway.”

Martin, on the other hand, also denied the rumors, saying he and Ganda are good friends. Unfortunately, their busy schedules have hindered them to meet and talk to each other.

Martin also stressed that he and Ganda didn’t even have any misunderstandings.

Meanwhile, when asked about their planned trilogy film project, Ganda explained that it may not be happening anytime soon. However, it does not mean that it will never happen.

Both “The Revenger Squad” and the “Ang Panday” movies are scheduled to hit the theaters on Dec. 25.

KAMI believes that both Ganda and Martin's MMFF entries will be a box-office success on Dec. 25.
