- Raymond Gutierrez has previously struggled with weight issues since returning to showbiz in 2003
- He is now a fitness inspiration after losing at least 65 pounds
- The host shared his diet secrets
Raymond Gutierrez said he doesn't follow a strict calorie count diet, but maintains a healthy portion control in everything he eats.
In an interview with PEP, the host shared that his diet consists of mostly fish, chicken, sweet potato, vegetables, asparagus, and avocado.
Raymond doesn't eat fast-food meals, salty food, and doesn't drink alcoholic beverages.
He also stopped eating pork, beef, and rice since December 2016.
"I found out that I like fish and chicken more, and it helps me burn fast," said Raymond.
Aside from a strict no-meat diet, Raymond also gave up his late-night social life. He diligently gets up early in the morning to workout instead.
Raymond said he dedicates two to three hours per day for his work out.
He has weight training, boxing, muay thai, spinning, and yoga as part of his weekly routine.
In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, Raymond said he feels so much happier now and has become a more positive person.
"You know before, I would be snarky, I would be sarcastic. I would make snide remarks and just have the tendency to be negative. But maybe that's because I'm unhappy with myself," confessed Raymond.
He added that to really see a change in your body, you have to start committing to a motivation.
