Vice Ganda and Vic Sotto, both from rival stations and shows, but managed to maintain good camaraderie is something very rare especially in the world of showbiz.
Both of them have upcoming films this coming December.
The Revengers for Vice Ganda and Meant to Beh for Vic.
Both are official entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017.
During an interview, Vice was asked about Vic Sotto:
Reporter: "Anong masasabi mo Vice na even si ano nag good luck din sa pelikula mo kasi.."
Reporter: "Si Vic Sotto, tungkol dun sa pelikula na, nagbigay din ng magandang mensahe na panoorin lahat parang ganyan.."
Vice: "Mabait naman yun eh.. Mabait naman talaga yun eh si Sir Vic,
"Icon na yun eh wala naman na tayong mai-aano dun.."
Reporter: "Anong masasabi niyo magkalaban na naman yung inyong pelikula this ano MMFF?"
Vice: "Oo, eh lagi naman hindi ba? Lagi naman kaming nagkakasabay, ang mahalaga madami kami napapasaya diba?
"Ang daming nakakapanood ng mga pelikula namin. Habang masaya kami masaya yung maraming tao. Ayun ang mahalaga mas maraming masaya kesa malungkot."
Jose Marie Borja Viceral or Vice Ganda to many, is one of the regular hosts in ABS-CBN's noontime show It's Showtime.
During his humble beginnings, he first started as a singer then he became a stand-up comedian for Punchline and The Library.
Marvic Valentin Castelo Sotto also known as Vic Sotto is not just a host of the longest running noontime show in the Philippines - Eat Bulaga!, but he's also a singer-songwriter and film producer.
He also owns M-Zet Productions, a film and TV production outfit.
