It’s been 26 years since veteran actor/TV host Vic Sotto welcomed a baby in his life. That is why when wife Pauleen Luna recently gave birth to their first child, Sotto was in awe with the feeling of being a first-time father again.
In a report that KAMI obtained from GMA Entertainment, the new dad can’t help but gushed over her one-month-old daughter, baby Talitha Maria. Sotto even shared that parenting is quite easy for him and Luna because their baby is so easy to take care with.
Bossing added that they count themselves lucky and are very happy that their daughter is not a cry-baby just like other newborn kids. According to the “Meant to Beh” star, Talitha will only cry if she’s hungry.
"She's a very easy baby,” Sotto shared. “Kami'y suwerte at natutuwa ni Pauleen na hindi siya iyakin, 'pag gutom lang medyo magpaparamdam lang siya ng unti.”
The 63-year-old actor/TV host also compared his daughter Talitha to his “Meant to Beh” costar Bae-by Baste. Sotto said, "Kungbaga parang no tantrums, parang si Baste."
Speaking of his upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2017 entry, Sotto applauded Bae-by Baste for being a sweet and understanding child while they’re filming the movie. According to Sotto, Baste’s first acting experience is very good and the cute kid deserves a high grade.
"He's very sweet,” Sotto said. “Madali siya makaintindi. When you talk to him it's like talking to a mature guy, considering his age, [it's] his first movie, his first acting [experience]. Sabi ni Direk Martinez, bigyan natin siya ng napakataas na grado.”
Meanwhile, Christmas in the Sotto household is more special this 2017 because of the arrival of baby Tali. According to Sotto, it’s been awhile since he welcomed a baby in the baby, not to mention his own child.
The actor revealed that his other children — Danica, Oyo Boy, Vico and Paulina — are all very happy to welcome their new sister in the family. However, Sotto stressed that his grandchildren are the ones who are more excited to meet baby Tali.
“Pero mas excited ang mga apo ko,” Sotto said, as quoted by Malaya. “Kasi meron silang Tita Tali na baby.”
In other related reports, Sotto also shared some interesting information about the movie, “Meant to Beh.” Unlike his previous MMFF entries, the upcoming film is not a fantasy movie, saying it’s a “serious comedy film” that talks about family and relationships.
Along with new leading lady Dawn Zulueta, Sotto collaborated with director Chris Martinez for this film. It is also a joint production between M-Zet, APT and OctoArts, and is set to premiere on Christmas Day, Dec. 25.
KAMI is excited for the upcoming premiere of Bossing's MMFF entry, "Meant to Beh."
