Maja Salvador’s afternoon revenge drama has broken nationwide TV ratings record since it premiered on ABS-CBN. As the program prepares for its fourth book, ABS-CBN boss Charo Santos-Concio surprised the cast by visiting their set.
In a video KAMI obtained from The Pinoy Channel’s YouTube thread, the 62-year-old television network executive took the “Wildflower” cast by surprise when she visited their photoshoot session. What’s more interesting, Santos-Concio claimed she’s the real “Lily Cruz,” the infamous character portrayed by Salvador.
“Ako ang totoong Lily Cruz!” Santos-Concio announced upon entering the set. Her statement made veteran actor Tirso Cruz III, who portrays the role of Ardiente’s clan patriarch Julio, to burst into laughter.
The ABS-CBN boss then looked for Salvador, who Cruz dubbed as “mapagpanggap” or the fake one. Salvador, however, was not yet around so Santos-Concio greeted other cast members such as Joseph Marco, Christian Vasquez, RK Bagatsing, Vin Abrenica and Wendell Ramos, among many others.
Just in time when Santos-Concio asked, “Nasaan ang fake na Lily Cruz?,” Salvador entered the room. Wearing a red gown, Salvador was clearly taken by surprise when she saw Santos-Concio, claiming to be real Lily Cruz.
Salvador then asked her boss when she will appear as a guest star on “Wildflower.” Meanwhile, Santos-Concio also met Zsa Zsa Padilla, who plays the character of Red Dragon in the series.
In other related reports, Salvador has indeed proven herself as a fearless gal! According to ABS-CBN Entertainment, the 29-year-old actress is doing her own stunts in “Wildflower.”
To prove her hardwork, Fashion Pulis shared an Instagram post that showed Salvador’s bruised legs. On the actress’ personal IG account, there was also a video showing her in action while doing a helicopter scene.
KAMI admires Salvador for her efforts in keeping her TV series, "Wildflower," entertaining and interesting for the Filipino audience.
