- BB Gandanghari is a Filipino transgender actor, model, comedian, and director.
- She is also known as Rustom Padilla, Carmina Villaroel's ex-husband
- She now lives as a normal person in US
KAMI learned about this from ABS-CBN Entertainment. Gandanghari joined Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition in 2006 where she came out after 44 days. After 3 years, she revealed that she is already a transgender woman and changed her name to BB Gandanghari.
Gandanghari shocked everyone with her transformation including her brother Robin Padilla. It took time for Robin to accept the decision of Gandanghari. BB was last seen in television in 2015. She starred in TV 5's 2 1/2 Daddies with her brothers Robin Padilla and Rommel Padilla.
In Robin Padilla's interview in Magandang Buhay, he shared that BB is his closest sibling despite their distance because BB is now based in the United States. Robin also shared that he can not help but to worry for BB because she is currently an Uber driver there.
He then recalled how he used to fight for Gandanghari when they were younger.
Hanggang ngayon. Iba na nga lang ngayon dahil babae na siya ngayon," he said.
As a surprise for Padilla, Gandanghari sent her brother a video message that aired on "Magandang Buhay" on Wednesday.
“Congratulations sa isang napakalakas na pelikula. I feel so nostalgic about the ‘Maging Sino Ka Man’ days. Congratulations to you and Sharon. You are the icon of the '90s. I’m really very happy for you. Congratulations to you my dear brother. I love you. More to come. And please when you have your premiere night here, invite me naman,” she said.
KAMI prays for BB Gandanghari's safety in the US. We know you're happy there!
