Following a much-needed break, Carla Humphries is finally making a comeback in the entertainment scene. According to the 29-year-old model-actress, she went to France to distance herself from her showbiz career.

Based on the report that KAMI obtained from GMA News Online, Humphries shared that France became a refuge for her. It was the place where she found love, felt brokenhearted yet the French nation was also instrumental in making her whole again.

Since she reached a point in her life where she felt lost and her chosen career path seemed to be not destined for her, Humphries admitted that she did some soul-searching during her trip. She then confessed that there was time that she didn’t feel the love of the showbiz industry.

Fortunately, Humphries has victoriously surpassed the trials in her personal and career life. In fact, she’s making a comeback equipped with a “brighter” perspective and “renewed determination” to fight for the position she truly deserve in the movie industry.

When asked to share some pieces of advice to those who are experiencing the same emotional turmoil she went through, Humphries said you have to “keep doing you.”

"To the women who have dreamt and had broken dreams, keep doing you,” Humphries said. “Work on yourself.”

“Always do things that you're proud of, whether other people appreciate them or not, because you'll always look back with no regrets,” she continued.

Meanwhile, Humphries is set to return in the big screen through the movie adaptation of the Filipino crime novel titled, “Smaller and Smaller Circles.” She will play the role of the strong and opinionated reporter, Joanna Bonifacio.

For her upcoming project, Humphries worked with director Raya Martin. It was also the film that required her to cut her hair short.

"Smaller and Smaller Circles" is set to premiere on Dec. 6.

KAMI admires Humphries for her newfound determination as she makes a comeback in the entertainment industry.
