For the first time, Janica Nam Floresca spilled out the details of her boyfriend's drowning incident last November 11.

She wanted to rectify the story told by the two boatmen who was with them during the incident.

They were Rico Igalan and Efren Kilang, who was interviewed by ABS-CBN morning news Umagang Kay Ganda last November 13.

She also revealed that Tom Doromal's statement in an interview in Rated K has discrepancies.

According to her Franco was not rushed to the hospital immediately after being rescued and brought to the resort owned by Tom.

She also refuted the boatmen's statement that they reminded them to used life jacked upon boarding the motorized banca.

Franco was invited by Hashtags member Tom for a vacation in Davao from November 9 to 13 since they don't have work for 6 days.

They stayed in the house of Tom's daddy in Malita, Davao Occidental on November 9 and decided to go to the resort the following day.

The group went to White Sand Island in Sitio Ilib, North Lamidan, Davao Occidental.

Among the five were Franco, Nam, Tom, Tom's girlfriend and Tom's cousin named Cleo.

According to Nam, Tom knew the boatmen as they lived in the place where their private resort is located.

In a report by Umagang Kay Ganda based on the boatmen's statement, they did not mention that they instructed the group to leave the boat, jump to the water and swin to the nearest shore.

Nam also contradicted their statement that they reminded the group to wear life vests.

They floated with the banca at first but they got separated with the boatman when a big wave hit them.

They were struggling to float for 30 minutes and it was hard for Nam to see where Franco is because of the water.

They were rescued after 30 minutes by one of the boatmen.

They hold on to the boatman to swim back to an island. She noticed Franco struggling hard because of the her weight.

In an interview by Umagang kay Ganda in November 13, the two boatmen said the were heading back to the resort when the big waves hit their banca causing it to be filled with water.

They rescued the person who was not able to hold on to the banca and brought him to safety first.

According to them, when they went back they saw Franco and his girlfriend drowning.

They brought them both to the shore but the Franco remained unconscious.

In the report, Efren, one of the boatmen said they reminded them to wear life vests but in a separate interview, Nam stood firm in her statement that they did not have any life vests.
