Denise said that after her check-up they found a mass in her bre@st, lymph nodes, and ovaries. Cysts were all over her body.

She also said that she loves working so much even when it becomes too much for her body to take.

She would usually won't get enough sleep, she's always "puyat," which she learned was the reason for her sickness.

She was quoted saying:

“I was younger, fit, because I exercise, what could go wrong, right?”

The cysts from her body are not yet removed completely and she's taking her time to recover.

“I’m gonna have to take out some of them. In time. There’s no rush. But I’ve already taken out half of what’s inside my bre@st, pero I dunno, I don’t like operations, e,” she explained. “So I’m gonna do it little by little.”

Being a mother to five-year-old kid, Alejandro, she doesn't want to rely on medicines because she wants to stay active for her child.

“And I’m not taking any medication because it messes with your system. And I wanna be good, energetic mom for my son,” she said.

The lesson that she learned?

“Do not take sleep for granted. I also catch naps whenever I can."

She also changed her diet to “no sugar, less sodium."

In spite of everything that happened, Denise said, “Masaya pa rin ang buhay."
