- Vice Ganda called his co-hosts and a contestant by celebrity names from rival noontime show
- TV host/comedienne jokingly turned ‘It’s Showtime’ to ‘Eat Bulaga'
- Vice also spoofed famous game show host Willie Revillame
Noontime television host and Phenomenal Box-Office comedienne Vice Ganda is notorious for poking fun at his co-hosts in the show, “It’s Showtime,” which airs on ABS-CBN from Mondays to Saturdays.
But in the recent episode, Ganda pretended to be a “mali-mali” and jokingly called his co-host with different names.
In the recent video that KAMI obtained from ABS-CBN Entertainment’s official YouTube channel, Ganda started praising Toni Braxton’s songs while interviewing a “Tawag ng Tanghalan” contestant.
Along with co-host Vhong Navarro, the 41-year-old TV personality asked the contender if she knew Braxton’s song, “How Could an Angel Break my Heart,” the exact same song that the contestant just sang.
It was not Ganda’s forgetfulness, however, that made the entire audience and his fellow co-host to burst into laughter.
The show took a hilarious turn when the comedienne called the audience or “madlang people” as “Dabarkads,” which is the moniker for the live studio audience of its rival noontime show, “Eat Bulaga” that airs on GMA 7.
Apart from its viewers, Ganda also called Anne Curtis , Jhong Hilario and the contestant as Ruby (Rodriguez), Jose (Manalo) and Ryzza Mae (Dizon) respectively — who are all part of Eat Bulaga. Navarro, on the other hand, called Ganda as Allan K.
The fun in the show, however, did not stop in Ganda’s erroneous name-calling of his co-hosts.
In fact, he suddenly danced energetically and asked the audience, “Magaling ba? ‘Eh di bigyan ng jacket ‘yan!” This particular line gained popularity in another GMA 7 TV show titled, “Wowowin,” and the main host is Willie Revillame.
When Ganda’s co-hosts called his attention, he blamed it to his confusion, making the whole studio audience to burst into fits of laughter. Meanwhile, the said video was published online on Nov. 28.
KAMI admires Vice Ganda’s sense of humor when it comes to entertaining the Filipino audience.
