Kapamilya star Gerald Anderson, recently visited Marawi city's displaced residents and soldiers hoping to extend good vibes, comfort, and cheer.
"We sleep safely at night because rough men stand ready to visit violence on those who would harm us... Marawi liberated"
"Nakakatuwa na nakabisita tayo dito sa Marawi, kahit papaano nakapagbigay tayo ng saya. Sana makabangon agad ang Marawi," Anderson said.
Gerald also participated in a "boodle fight" lunch with soldiers and rescuers from the local government of Marawi.
According to Star Magic's post, Anderson together with other volunteers listened to the soldier's stories about their encounters and bravery.
In the movie 'AWOL,' Anderson plays the role of Lt. Abel Ibarra, a scout ranger and elite sniper.
So even in the past, Gerald was always supportive and never fails to show his appreciation for government soldiers.
We hope that he will be able to set as a good example to his fellow actors.
KAMI wants to commend Gerald Anderson for dedicating his time to give joy to our soldiers in spite of his busy schedule
