Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez's daughter received the sacrament of baptism in a Catholic church earlier today.

KAMI learned about this from ABS-CBN Entertainment. Maria Isabella recently celebrated her 1st birthday last November 14 with a Spanish royalty theme.

The photo of the baptism event was posted by Mariel's sister Kaye Garcia. Knowing that Robin is a Muslim, Kaye captioned the photo: "Baptism day. To all the concerned fans of robin & Mariel, Isabella had a Muslim baptism as well. Pls refrain from negative comments on my feed. I'll delete them."
