During multi-award actor Aga Muhlach's interview, while promoting the movie 'Seven Sundays,' he shared how they raise their twins, Andres and Atasha.
KAMI learned this from PEP.ph
Aga said that he wants his children to work hard for the things they want in life, and that they don't usually meddle but they constantly give them guidance.
“Now, at the age of 15—they’re turning 16—ang sa akin lang is, at an early age, if you guys wanna leave, if you wanna leave the house, I will let you."
“If you wanna explore life, you wanna experience it, you wanna learn it the hard way, the easy way—it’s your choice."
“Basta kami, nandito kami.”
Aga also added that he does not want their children to grow up feeling that they're entitled because of their parents' celebrity status.
“In our own little way, parang we made sure that we were there, but hindi kami yung mga hovering parents na would be in control of our children.”
“They know na hindi sila nag-iisip ng materyal, ng mana, ng ganyan because naturuan namin kung ano'ng amin ay amin."
“Kayo kung may gusto kayo, wala kayong makukuha from us."
“You will have to experience life and work for it.”
KAMI wants to remind everyone that although we love our children, we must teach them how to strive for the things they want in life
