TV Comedian and Creative Director, Michael V announces that he might be 'graduating' anytime soon from the long-running Gag Comedy Show 'Bubble Gang'.
KAMI learned from Inquirer that the 47-year old Comedian is starting to train and guide newer members of the show.
“I feel compelled to teach them. I’m simply waiting for people to step up. They’re good performers, but no one writes or is part of the creative team—wala pa so far ’yung full package,” He said in an interview for their 22nd Anniversary Special.
"Some things can’t be taught, but I always can inspire them. They all have potential. I will be leaving the door open—it’s up to them to step up and enter,” added the 47-year-old comedian.
The TV host Actor opened up about his decision in leaving the show since he really wants to pursue a career in film making. It is really long overdue according to him.
“I want the show to continue, not necessarily with me or the same cast,” he said. “We stick to original material as much as possible. If we have to copy or spoof something, we spiff it up so it becomes a signature ‘Bubble Gang’ gag.” He added.
Bubble Gang celebrates its 22nd Anniversary with a twist by having a Parokya ni Edgar Musical.
Michael V is among the original cast of the Comedy show along with Antonio Aquitania and Ogie Alcasid.
