Marissa Hernandez Lumanlan, the mother of Hashtags member Franco Miguel Hernandez, thanked fans and friends for their overflowing love and support.
KAMI learned about the news from ABS-CBN.com
"Si Franco is very loving, lalo na sa family niya, especially sa sister niya. Isa lang ang kapatid niyang babae. The last na (ginawa) niya bago siya namatay, nagbigay pa siya ng sandwich sa kuwarto niya and he texted his sister, 'May sandwich ako para sa iyo, I love you.' He's very loving. Even to me nagte-text siya, 'Good night, I love you.' And everyday 'yan," Marissa shared.
"Because nga they taped several episodes, sabi lang niya na pagod na pagod lang siya, that's why he needs a break. He's going on a four-day vacation in Davao and unfortunately this accident happened," she said.
"That's what's very important to us 'yung ma-retain 'yung alaala niya sa lahat ng tao at 'yung kabutihan niya. He loves his fans very much. Kahit pagod 'yan, basta may nakita siyang fans sa labas na gustong magpa-picture ay hindi niya dini-deny ang request. They can attest to that," she added.
Marissa also shared that Franco wanted to buy a house for the family, that is why he's been working so hard.
Hernandez, 26, drowned in Davao Occidental on Saturday afternoon.
Their motorized banca was hit by a strong wave causing him and his girlfriend to fall off.
Franco Hernandez is a member of It's Showtime's all-male dance group called Hashtags.
KAMI wants to remind everyone that we should be grateful for each day that we get to spend with our loved ones
