Philippine bet Mariel de Leon fails to make it to Ms. International's Top 15

Last year's Philippine bet on the Miss International pageant, Kylie Verzosa bagged the crown.

So undoubtedly a lot were expected from this year's representative, Mariel de Leon.

KAMI learned about the news from ABS-CBN.com

The beauty queen failed to make it to the Top 15 in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday.

Those who made it to the Top 15 were candidates from Curacao, Venezuela, Slovakia, United Kingdom, Ghana, Honduras, Japan, Ecuador, Finland, Laos, Indonesia, Panama, Thailand, Australia, and South Africa.

Mariel is the daughter of veteran actors Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong.

KAMI thinks that Mariel did her best and she represented the Philippines well, with or without the crown
