Vice President Leni Robredo was snubbed yet again from official government events.
According to the Vice President's office, Robredo did not receive any invitation to last night's gala dinner for world leaders and delegates of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit.
KAMI learned of this development through the Philippine Star.
Also noticeable was Robredo's absence in the welcome ceremony for the visiting world leaders. Usually it is the vice president who greets the arriving dignitaries.
Instead, that task fell into the hands of former president and current Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Arroyo was at the Clark International Airport on Saturday to welcome world leaders like Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and Myanmar State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi.
However, Robredo would still be attending the opening ceremony at the Philippine International Convention Center today, November 13.
She is also the keynote speaker at the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit at Solair Resort in Pasay City on Tuesday.
