3 OFWs lose P80K worth of cash, gadgets and items to ‘Salisi’ thieves they met in airport

There are criminals in the Philippines who specialize in stealing from overseas Filipino workers. A group of OFWs became victims to those kinds of criminals.

KAMI learned about the unfortunate news from ABS-CBN News.

The three OFWs lost cash, gadgets and gifts worth P80,000 to thieves they met at the NAIA Terminal 2.

The thieves pretended to be OFWs waiting for their flight to Kuwait, convincing their victims to stay with them in a hotel room instead of staying overnight at the airport.

When they ate together at the mall, the thieves asked permission to leave for a while so they could withdraw cash from the ATM.

But instead of going to the ATM, the thieves went back to the hotel room, took the OFWs’ bags, and left the hotel.

The thieves were caught on CCTV as they were leaving the hotel.

KAMI is hoping that the OFWs’ money and belongings would be returned to them!
