Despite her bashers online, Teresita Ssen Marquez or better known as Winwyn Marquez to many, gracefully thanked not only her supporters but also her bashers.
Winwyn bagged the crown as Reina Hispanoamericana 2017, a first for the Philippines. It was held in Sta. Cruz, Bolivia on Saturday, November 4.
KAMI learned about the issue from PEP.ph
In her lengthy Instagram post, she shared that it’s not an easy ride and she cried before the pageant, but with the support of family, friends and Filipino supporters she was able to carry on.
“The first few days was really tough kung alam niyo lang and naiyak talaga ako pero I pushed myself and nabuhayan ako ng loob dahil sa mga pinoy.”
Instead of letting the negative comments get to her, she used it as her motivation to improve herself and it surely became a factor in her success.
“sa mga bashers and mga ibang pinoy na hindi naniniwala saakin at sa RHA po salamat padin po dahil sa mga sinabi niyo po saakin mas gusto ko patunayan sa sarili ko na kaya ko..”
