Martin Nievera is very proud to reveal that inspite of the advancements in technology even in creating songs, his is still considered as #nofilter as what the millennials describe.
The Philippine's Concert King assures the audience of his concert which will be held on December 8 that their will be no 'auto-tune' or 'digitally mastered' music on that day.
KAMI learned from PEP that Martin pointed out, “What I'm trying to emphasize is that for 35 years now, my songs still have no filters.
“It's also another excuse to sing my songs again.
“Kasi, nagco-complain ang fans ko, my remaining fans, bakit palaging ginagawa ko yung mga songs ng iba.
“Maybe it's because of my career on ASAP, palaging ginagawan ng mga bagong kanta.
“Sa mga millennials, nobody wants to do the songs that we did many, many years ago.”
The upcoming show is entitled Martin @35 which pertains not to his age but how long he has stayed in the industry.
When asked about his magic formula for longetivity?
“I think it's being able to listen to the younger producers, writers, directors, cameramen,” answered the 55-year-old singer.
“I think everyone's so young now.
“Being able to hangout with them once a week. Whenever I am with them when ASAP goes around the globe, hanging out with them, playing with them, lounge with them, you really learn a little bit more about being humble.
Martin's Concert will be directed by Paolo Valenciano, the son of his good friend Gary V.
